M2 Digital acquisition makes Netlink’s offering even more simple, managed and effective.
Perth-based MSP Netlink Group are ushering in a new level of service for customers with the acquisition of fellow WA Telstra partner M2 Digital ICT.
Netlink Group's Managing Director Steve van Blommestein confirmed that all of M2 Digital’s 24 staff join Netlink Group’s team of 35 employees, effective Monday 27 August 2018.
While both companies offered overlapping services, M2’s recognised expertise in mobility, mobile device management (MDM) and telephony present the greatest opportunity for Netlink Group and its customers.
"With this acquisition, we now can offer a ‘whole of business’ solution to enterprise and premier customers and manage their entire services on a single bill." said Mr van Blommestein.
Netlink Group has been providing ICT services to Western Australian businesses since the early 90s and is a proud Telstra Enterprise Partner.
As part of the M2 Digital acquisition Netlink will also be able to provide Enterprise Mobility Services and Plans as a premier Telstra Mobility Partner.
"Full stack" IT services now available through Telstra (on one bill).
Expectations from Telstra that its partners provide complete managed services added momentum to the deal.
“Telstra partners are mandated now, in order to keep bigger clients - whether mobility, hardware, software, or services - to have a complete stack to offer customers”
Netlink Group will ensure a smooth transition for existing Netlink Group and M2 Digital ICT clients.
“Existing customers of both companies should be confident there will be no disruption to current services or levels of support. Our united message is that we are bigger, stronger and better equipped to deliver superior services to the SME and Enterprise customers.”
St John Butler, Channel Manager WA for Telstra Enterprise, welcomed the merger saying, “This acquisition represents the joining of two very strong and Telstra loyal partners. This means seamless continuity in customer projects for all parties. Netlink Group will now be able to offer products and services across all domains and business customer segments from a single group. This includes both IT and Mobile managed services. This is a fantastic story for our sales teams, our channel in WA and most importantly our customers.”
The acquisition is expected to grow Netlink Group’s annual revenue by an estimated 80 percent.
